This lesson was a great example of instructional strategies. The way the lesson was planned out really grabbed the students attention. Class was engaged in a whole group interactive read a loud. After the read aloud students were modeled through a quick narrative writing. Then they had the opportunity to get creative and draw. This lesson allowed students to show their knowledge in many different ways, and in different areas.

In my lesson there was a variety of instructional strategies. I had planned extra to allow for no fluff or filler time needed. My lesson was also built to meet the needs of my learner where they were at. It was very developmentally appropriate, and it required a task they were able to complete.
