I have attached my philosophy of educating diverse learners. This is where I go through and explain my philosophy around educating diverse learners and what my plan is.
I chose this assignment to reflect upon standard 3, learning environments, because it shows how I plan on creating a learning environment that includes diverse learners. These students should be in the general ed classroom as much as then can as it is not only helpful to them but also the other students around them. Being able to have these students in the general ed classes allow for discussion and creates a more welcoming environment, both in school and in the community. This artifact also shows how I plan on trying to teach the students as much as I can about proper language and interactions. These will help create a more safe learning space for diverse learners and help the students be more aware of their actions. It is my goal to spread awareness that we need to change expectations to ones that include all types of learners.
