I have chosen my pear deck lesson as my first artifact for standard 11, technology standards. This lesson that I created is a student guided assignment. Most slides in this lesson have the students circle, write, answer, or respond. Having the slides set up this way engage the students more and allow for them to be a bit more creative with their answers. I have also build in a few brain/movement breaks that are also related to the lesson. Not only does this give students a chance to get us and move while working on technology, it keeps the theme of the lesson going and their brains working. Lastly, I have built in an exit ticket to the end of the slides. This exit ticket asks the students to fill in the missing letters to the word. This type of assessment is not one often used in class, so it gives them a variety of assessment forms. Be sure to click the link below to check out the pear deck lesson I have created!
